1976 Porsche 911 3.0

1976 Porsche 911 3.0

According to the Porsche-issued COA, this 911 was completed at the Zuffenhausen-based Porsche plant on the 22 of april 1976, and built for the German market, thus fitted with the desirable 5-speed manual transaxle, a center console and the iconic rear spoiler. On top of that it has the optional 7j and 8j Fuchs wheels. Finished in the rare color of Copper Brown Metallic and trimmed in a Beige / Shetland leather interior, this Carrera looks just like one would expect for a late 1970s Porsche.

After the succes of the legendary Carrera RS 2.7 the Carrera name continued on Porsche's top-of-the-range model. In '76 an '77 the 911 Carrera received the 3.0-liter engine with a significant performance boost. It has just 200hp but a lot more torque and a really usable power delivery!

This rare Euro Carrera presents in very good and well-maintained condition, gearbox and engine were completely rebuilt recently. The odometer, which reads just shy of 97,200 kilometers, is indeed believed to be the car's original mileage. A rarity, this numbers matching Carrera 3.0 is certainly ready to be enjoyed by its next caretaker!
